Take a look at any set of street style pics from the past 12 months and I guarantee you will have seen this latest trend - tulle. After LFW designer 'One-To-Watch' Molly Goddard championed the use of tulle in her collections throughout 2016, there was simply no escaping this look. It was also heavily seen on the runway at Valentino and Simone Rocha. On the surface, this trend may seem tailor made for eveningwear, but it is in fact daywear that this trend truly makes its mark. For the brave fashionista's, there is the all out tulle dress with layer upon layer neon mesh. For those a little more reserved, but still equally as trend savvy, then the way to go is a tulle skirt. Wear with a classic pullover knit or t-shirt for a casual everyday look, or wear over skinny jeans for the ultimate street style moment. If neon is not your colour, then black and teal will still ensure your trend credentials. Celebrity fans include models, editors, creative directors - Adwoa Aboah, Jenna Lyons, Yasmin Sewell, Leandra Medine, Sofia Sanchez and Pernille Teisbaek.
With tulle dominating the runway in 2016, luxury stores have majorly bought into this trend.. and with that the highstreet have also followed suit. I have found some of the best tulle skirts, dresses and shirts currently available to shop. Ranging from pretty blouses, which would work well worn to the office, to mid-length tiered skirts that would introduce something new into your wardrobe for 2017 - this edit has you covered.
