The softest shade of blue was widely used for Resort 19, emerging as one of the main colour trends of the pre-season. This shade of powder blue felt fresh on the runway and had an air of innocence to it. Any soft shade is going to feel feminine but the grey undertones of this particular colour give it a higher level of sophistication as opposed to say a classic pastel blue, which can sometimes be a bit sharp. It works well when paired with both white and black, so if you are looking to wear this trend for Spring teaming with white will be your go to look but team with black and you can easily wear this trend in Autumn. Louis Vuitton opted for glossy fabrics, whilst in contrast Karla Spetic chose a marl fabric with a gorgeous grainy texture to it.
