Marc Jacobs went all out with the Americana theme for his S/S 16 collection. Models were decked out in red, white and blue, stars and stripes, American iconography, ripped denim and some seriously kick-ass metallic cowboy boots. This was a collection about excess, not that Marc Jacobs ever does anything by halves! With references to the movies, garments were printed and embellished with motifs including popcorn, hot dogs and a screen print of screen icon Janet Leigh. This is one of the must have collections for S/S 16 and having an all-American road trip top of my bucket list you can imagine how much I love it!
