Designer Shoe Collaborations

If you love trainers/shoes, then you are spoilt for choice with the new designer collaborations hitting the shops this month and later in the year. 5 collaborations caught my eye, so I thought I would review the collections and show you what you can expect.
Raf Simons X Adidas
Dior's creative director is now on his fifth collection for Adidas. The starting point for this collection was a vintage astronaut suit. Zig-Zag stitches in primary colours and metallic grommets add to the youthful aesthetic of this collection, whilst the classic 'Stan Smith' style trainer has been given a bright overhaul in colourful shades. In stores mid-July
Sandro X Reebok
Not as quick off the mark with designer collaborations, Reebok has signed up Parisienne fashion brand Sandro for its new foray into the luxury market. The style of trainer in question is the 'Instspump Fury' which has been updated. Holographic details and a speckled sole complete the new look trainer. Available later this month, priced at around £145.
Andy Warhol X Converse
The Andy Warhol Chuck Taylor All Star Collection is new for Spring 15. The iconic sneaker, both high-top and low-top, has been given a major Andy Warhol makeover featuring some of the artists most famous work. Available this month, price range $35 - $90.
Cath Kidston X Gola
Kidston, known for her vintage inspired prints, has selected 4 of her favourites and given a new lease of life to the Gola 'Harrier' style trainer. Priced at £65, these will make a great addition to your spring wardrobe, the fresh colourful prints brightening up your everyday outfit.
Ashley Williams X RED OR DEAD
NEWGEN designer Ashley Williams has teamed up with RED OR DEAD on a range of shoes which will be exclusively available at Schuh from this month. The monochrome vinyl kitten heels are inspired by RED OR DEAD'S back catalogue of shoes. Super chic and super classic, I love these heels.
Kate Bosworth X Matisse
Having previously teamed up with Topshop, Kate Bosworth has now collaborated with footwear brand Matisse. I adore Kate Bosworth's personal style and for me these shoes are just brilliant. I always wear ankle boots myself, so if I could purchase a pair of these 'Hot Shot' boots I would probably never take them off! Price range $300 - $500.
